Chicken: 1/2 kg
Oil: 1/2 cup
Onion: 2 (fine chopped)
Yogurt: 1 cup
Ginger: 1/2 tbsp
Crushed red chili : 1 teaspoon
Dry coriander(sabut dhaniya) : 1 teaspoon
Cumin seed : 1 teaspoon
Salt: according to taste
Black pepper powder:
Whole red chili: 4
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbsp
Green chilies: 6
Mint leaves: 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup


  • Take a wok
  • Then add oil in the wok and heat up
  • Add chopped onions in oil and shallow fry onions
  • Add chicken and ginger garlic paste in the fried onions
  • Cook until chicken changes it color to golden brown
  • Then add 1/2(half) cup of yogurt in chicken and cook it
  • Now add all the dry ingredients in chicken
  • Cook until chicken get cooked and oil gets on the top
  • In a blender add all the greens(mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chilies)
  • Add a little bit water to make a smooth paste
  • Now add this green paste in cooked chicken
  • Also add the remaining yogurt and sliced ginger in chicken
  • Cover the lid and cooked it for about 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes put the stove off and open the lid
  • Now add half cup dairy creme and garnish it with sliced ginger
